Please help me if anyone can brief me how to install my old printer HP laserjet 1015 into my new laptop window 10(64bit). I also need the driver as well,please guide me where i can get the driver. My printer does not work when i use my new window 10 OS.
Here is a great work-around, and I hope it helps with other LaserJet 10XX models as it did with my 1012. NOTE: There is a driver on HP's website for 1010/1012/1015. You may have to find the one for your LaserJet 10XX, and you should look for the Vista 64-bit version (explained in STEP 1). It should work with the following instructions. Best of luck!Main Problem: The only drivers available for the 1012 are for Windows 2000, XP, and Vista.

Buen dia, una consutla a la comunidad, donde puedo conseguir un controlador de impresora 1015 para windows 7 home premium de 64bits?, la impresora esta conectada a otra pc que hace de servidor y comparte la impresora, pero la pc servidora es de 32bits, y cuando quiero añadir impresora, no lo permite, bueno lo que ise fue querer instalarla local, y ahi donde me sale un dialogo que me dice, controlador no soportado para equipo de 64bits, bueno desde ya Gracias por su tiempo!!!

Baixe o driver para W7 da Hp Laserjet 1020, instale-o, logo após conecte a impressora Laserjet 1015, nesse momento o W7 não vai achar somente a entrada IE88...ai você abre ela no impressoras e pede para verificar soluções online, nesse momento você deixa ele instalar tudo que conseguir, em um segundo momento vc repete esse procedimento, mandando corrigir novamente com as soluções encontradas....Pronto, intalada, funionando até em rede perfeitamente....
Depois, despluguei o cabo USB da impressora, fiz o procedimento padrão de adição de impressoras local, escolhi a porta padrão LPT1, mas a invés de instalar a 1015 pelos drivers baixados, instalei a 1020 pelos drivers do próprio Windows.
Depois de instalada, fui nas propriedades da impressora, e na guia Portas eu selecionei a DOT4, e na guia Avançado eu alterei o driver para a LaserJet 1015. A tela deu uma travadinha básica, fechei forçado, mas pelo menos a LaserJet 1015 estava lá, instalada.
Gente, é a coisa mais fácil do mundo. Fico surpresa de ninguém descobrir. Quando aqui no escritório nem os técnicos conseguiram fazer os laptops que tem windows vista ou windows 7 imprimirem na HP 1015, me senti desafiada. Peguei um laptop e fiz tudo que é teste, pois eu precisava mandar consertar a impressora HP P2015 e eles não conseguiam imprimir na HP 1015. Bom, finalmente descobri. É só entrar na configuração da impressora e clicar em serviços (é a última aba), ali cliquem em localizar atualizações de driver e dar OK. Pronto, é só imprimir. No escritório, além de arrumar todos os laptops eu ainda ensinei ao técnico. hehe
